I like cupcakes without icing or that aren't chocolate flavored, everything else is fair game. Muffins are obviously the better cupcake.

I don't get cupcakes all that often, but the last time I had one was this small local one in a college town.

I agree. I think Gigi's Cupcakes treats the cake as a delivery vehicle for a massive overdose of icing. In which case, one should probably just go to the grocery and get a can of Betty Crocker and shovel it in by the tablespoon, or just get a cannoli or eclair.
