Chocolate. With chocolate fudge frosting (buttercream really isn't my favorite thing; it's too much like eating straight butter). Basically, more chocolate is better. Non-chocolate items need not apply for inclusion in my chocolate cupcakes.

I'd normally say that where I'm most likely to get them is my own oven, but I don't actually make cupcakes that often; I'm much more likely to make an entire cake, or brownies, or cookies, or suchlike.
