I thought that Puck designed his Owen alter ego to be the bestest damn assistant that ever assistant-ed for Xanatos (for some reason I always remember him saying he tried to "out-Vogel Vogel"), so yeah, there's no wonder you'd get shippy vibes from them.

....damnit, now I want to watch the whole series again. IT WAS SOO GOOD.

It was the cauldron episode that did me in. Owen turned his arm to stone for Xanatos!!

that gesture meant a lot less when it turns out it's only Owen whose hand is stone, Puck is fine when he transforms back, lol (though that could be cool, to find out it has an effect even in his Fae form... like he can't use magic from that hand or something. that'd be cool)

Yeah, but we didn't know that when the episode first aired. It way pinged my tragic-love-story radar back then.

Now it's more a we're-both-messing-with-each-other love story.
