I don't think that sounds offensive. The thing about 'genderqueer' label is that it's incredibly broad and can be applied to any type of non-binary gender experience.

I toy with fitting under the label and I would say what you've described here fits pretty much with my own experience. I'm not in the fandom but I'd actually be interested in reading this if you do write it. It's not something I've seen much of.

Thanks. My biggest worry was that people might say I'm erasing trans people or something by making a character like this, but I guess if you can't please everybody, I may as well please myself (and hopefully a few others), right? :)
