Re: Welcome to Neo-Feminism

There was a post about this on Tumblr that was irritating me because along with a bunch of bullet points about how racist it was there was some snippy little commet about how 'I hope every white feminist who criticized Miley Cyrus and Lily Allen comes out again Katy Perry, walk the talk blah blah' and it just really annoyed me. Like, gosh, those horrible white bitches who are on our side, they must call out every form of racism ever or they too are racist! Like apparently now to be 'properly' feminist white women must call out all forms of racism ever in order to prove their cred. Women of color get an auto-pass just for being women of color. (Also, white feminists totally don't have non-white women's backs and WOC making shitty little comments like the one above calling out white women for stuff they haven't actually done yet doesn't fracture the movement at all, white women should just suck it up and be shat on. But how dare I say that because telling someone they're being an asshole is a tone argument if that person is more minority than thou.)
