book recs?

Hey, do you have any recs for magic realism novels?

In general, what was the last book you enjoyed? And which was the most recent page-turner?

Little, Big by John Crowley, if you haven't read it already. It's absolutely fantastic, maybe my favorite book ever.

Not magical realism--but I recently got into the Captain Alatriste novels of Arturo Perez-Reverte and I'm really enjoying them.

Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot

I recently reread the Enchanted Forest Chronicles, and was quite happy with them. I'm hoping to read Jacqueline Moriarty's stuff next; I've liked two of the books so far, but I haven't read the other two.

The last book I read was the novelization of the newest Star Trek movie. I thought it was meh.

One Hundred Years of Solitude is good, though it's been years and years since I read it.

The last book I finihed was a No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency novel. I love those and can't put one down.

Young Wizards series by Diane Duane.
