I think this is pretty normal?

The reason people hate Sues is because no one likes to read other people's boring power fantasies. Doesn't mean we don't all have fantasies of our own.

Yep. I don't think it's bad to make up Sues (and Suefics, art, whatever), I just wish people wouldn't post it in public and clutter up fandom spaces. Seriously, with some of my fandoms, about 80% of what gets posted is Mary Sue stuff...
