I imagine murderous fantasies are common, so I don't think your desires are particularity out of the ordinary. Personally, I don't entertain violent fantasies like that, but I have had flashes of intense anger during arguments wherein I've felt as though I could hurt someone. I can't muster enough feeling to get mad like that anymore, though.

Ugh yes. Especially in cases where the other party is just just so intensely unreasonable and unfair and nothing gets through to them and they behave like condescending assholes and they turn every word you say around. In those moments of impotent fury, I sometimes wish that it'd be acceptable to just slap people, mostly because it seems like nothing else will work.
