This Means War. :< Why the hell would she choose Chris Pine over Tom Hardy? In what world was he the better candidate?

Captain Kirk > Bane.

SA. Of course, I haven't seen the film, so that equation may be moot. Just thinking of in which world it would work out. ;)

Pfffftttttt. Maybe if Captain Kirk wasn't overacting so much I get second hand embarrassment.

I hate romcoms, but now you're making me want to watch it. How bad can it be?

It isn't as terrible as I thought it would be. I just wish it ended differently. :C

That is exactly the movie/couple I thought of when I read the first post in this thread.

I like both Pine and Hardy, but I was baffled that she chose ANYONE considering the circumstances. I realize what genre the movie is so I realize it couldn't have ended any other way, but damn did I hate it.

There are two alternate endings though. (One where she chooses Hardy, and one where she chose neither; I much preferred the third.)

Wasn't the one where she chose neither where Pine and Hardy chose each other?

That's what was said, yea, but there was only a brief hug (or was it chest pat?) in that one and it wasn't played out in a way that made me take Pine/Hardy seriously. I guess I mistakenly remembered her looking done with them before that bit; maybe it was wishful thinking.
