This is the 2nd male lead in Kdramas, and yes, I always get second lead syndrome. Usually because the character development happens mostly with the male lead, who starts out as a jerk and then becomes better, whereas the 2nd lead starts out as a nice guy...so even though I know the lead is endgame I can't help but root for the 2nd lead. A sad business.

I haven't seen the Kdrama version, but 2nd male lead Hanazawa Rui in Boys Over Flowers.
