Julie/Ross was sweet, much better than how R/R turned out IMO. They made each other happy and looked cute together. Who knows though, maybe if they'd lasted longer they would've fallen apart. Out of all his girlfriends, I think she and Charlie were the best matches for Ross.

I used to really like Ross/Emily too because he had FUN with her and I think Ross needed that in a relationship (he had fun with Rachel at first but the writers made them way too serious), but the second he said Rachel's name it was all ruined. I'll forever hate how Emily was assassinated and demonized to make Ross look like the victim again and that R/R was so great in comparison. They might not have worked out anyway, because they got married too soon, but that should have been the problem, not omg he still luved Rachel.
