I have a preternatural gift for deciphering song lyrics. Just song lyrics. My hearing isn't great and I have to ask people to repeat themselves all the time in conversation, but point me to a new song and I will have most of the words memorized within about three repeats. On more than one occasion my parents have asked me to tell them the words to songs they've been listening to since before I was born.
