She was blissed out on heaven, so she was just going Cold Turkey on harsh reality again. I guess she could be anxious about maybe throwing away that "Front Row Seat" and getting a one way ticket to the other place if she screwed up enough, the PTB seem to be kinda dicks in the Buffy-verse. That'd be a legitimate worry, but I think mainly it was her coming down from the total bliss out and getting clean again.
