If it's any consolation, I'm pretty sure that's considered disrespectful to the flag.

(It baffles me that a nation so predominantly Christian has a detailed set of rules for what constitutes "respect" and "disrespect" for what amounts to an idol, but that's another flame war.)

Honestly, we're Christian in name only and when it suits our agenda. Otherwise, we don't give a flip.

For example: Don't personally like gay people and they make uncomfortable? Use Christianity to say that it's okay to hate them. Jesus says to give away your worldly belongings, be humble and serve the poor and helpless? I'm sorry. I can't hear over the sound of my awesome PS4 and this 72in flat screen!

And my almost-flat tax rate with massive deductions on my $12 Million salary!

I kind of wonder at what point the us flag on clothing is disrespectful. Like, fourth of July tees seem to be fine but I can definitely see something like a flag bikini somehow being so.

It's all disrespectful, according to the official flag code.

Something like this:

I don't think it is, because it's not as if someone took an actual flag and cut it up to wear as a bikini. It counts as a replica.
