This. The secret is treating it like she just had some kind of near-death experience or flash of insight during a stressful time. She chose to sacrifice herself to save the world and her sister because she was weary beyond measure. She found an end to the crushing responsibility that was forced on her, she was at peace for the first time, and then someone said "Nope, we're not done with you, come save the world some more." I can't even imagine how terrible it would be to discover that not even dying is going to end your troubles.
