Re: Holiday season is upon us

Christmas is my second favorite holiday so there isn't much I don't like about this time of year. I love the holiday flavors/food, the lights, the music (unless it's on repeat like when I worked in a mall), the decorations, the cheesy Christmas movies in Hallmark and Lifetime, get-togethers with friends. Yep, I love it.

The food this holiday brings with it is wonderful. I never liked the Hallmark and Lifetime movies, but I make it a point to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas specials, and to read my mother's old Christmas books. She has one with a bunch of stories accompanied by Norman Rockwell illustrations. My favorite is 'Our Lady's Juggler'
