Try and see if you can scrounge up a bit of time to just do a huge, massive, total cleaning of every corner of your place. Then, look at the actual storage spaces -- hangers, shelves, drawers -- that you have, and label them, whether the labels are just in your mind or with actual physical labels. Try to keep your place looking exactly like it did when you first cleaned it, whenever something gets out of place, put it back in its place. Don't put anything anywhere that it isn't supposed to go. Be ridiculously strict and fussy about this just for the sake of it. The feeling of success and control that keeping your place spic-and-span gives you is more important than just the obvious benefits of living somewhere clean.

Re: depression and social anxiety. I recommend help, the suggestion above about student health and counseling centers is very good. Also, if it's an option, move to a one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartment with a roommate. Especially if you have social anxiety and don't see people a lot, the mental-health benefits of the forced company (unless your roommate is a complete nightmare) outweigh ALL the annoyances and inconveniences of sharing a place with someone.
