Actually, that anon said "directly". That kind of matters. You can be complicit in something even if you didn't get your hands dirty. That is not the definition of innocent.

It kind of doesn't. How can you be complicit in something that your ancestors did before you were ever born?

I'm Jewish. I do not hate every German person alive today because of what their ancestors did to mine. You have to be insane to think you can possibly hold one person responsible for what someone else did. There's just no fucking logic to this argument at all.

Thank you. I'm German and I'm kind of sick of this whole "you are all guilty because Germany fucked it up big time back then". No, I'm not going to feel guilty or responsible for something that happened half a century before I was born. I am, however, responsible to help make sure shit like that doesn't ever happen again. But guess what? EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING has this responsibilty, no matter what ethinicity, skin colour, where they come from or where they live.
