Are you kidding me? I could power half the Western world using white guilt as a fuel. It's kind of hilarious because it doesn't actually fix anything (since first, people made to feel guilty tend to get defensive rather than repentant, as the internet backlash against social justice demonstrates, and second, feeling guilty isn't the same as being useful), but it's still really fun to bully people you've felt bullied by for whatever reason, because people are petty.

Yep, handful of black people making it means institutional racism is over and that poor black people don't make it because they're bitter. If you ignore institutional racism hard enough, you can say poor black people are the cause of 100% of their problems. For every black person who pulled themselves out of poverty there are numerous others who can't or didn't. And that ignores the fact that Obama had family who had a little money and wherewithal to send him to private school.

Damn, white people are really trying it.
