I completely understand being frustrated with the slow, costly and physically/emotionally/mentally draining diagnosis process. It took many years, multiple doctors and a lot of persistence to even begin to be taken seriously about most of my various medical complaints, and in some cases it took several years after that to get the actual diagnosis. Hell, I'm still being tossed from specialist to specialist to figure out what's causing the frequent dizzy spells I've been having for over two years. But despite the aggravation and the multitude of expensive,exhausting and often painful tests, I've chosen to continue pursuing a diagnosis, because if you don't know what the problem is, you can't expect solve it. Maybe it would help to think of it like that?
