And again, So I don't give two fucks about feeling 'guilty' for something I had zero part in, mmkay.

Life is far too short to waste on things outside of your own control. I'm not 1)rich 2)male or 3)middleclass. No ones care what I have to say, and I can't do jack about what people put into place that have no connection to me other than skin color. I have much, much more important things to be worrying about now like not ending up homeless or keeping my job. I'm not going to spend my time worrying about how ~evil~ I am because I'm white. Nope.

AYRT

Nobody said you had to feel guilty. What a useless emotion. The point is to be aware of it so you can do your part to not perpetuate it. It's reaaaally not that hard. Sort of like how it would be awesome if more people were aware that poverty fucking sucks and would stop assuming the worst about people with low income and contributing to all the ugly narratives about how being poor is the same thing as being lazy or stupid. Or, hey, the least they could do would be to not tell you to shut up for "trying to make them feel guilty" or whatever. Maybe they could just shut up, themselves, and let you be frustrated, and maybe even learn something from what you have to say. Like, that would be super cool, and it would actually improve not only your life (and mine), personally, but society at large.

Or, you know, everyone could just keep on giving zero fucks and change nothing. That's an option, too.
