Re: Seizure anon

That sucks, anon. If you have any upcoming doctor's appointments scheduled, maybe you can use that opportunity to explain that this process is wearing you out and you aren't sure you want to press onward. Some doctors can get very carried away with trying to fix the problem and aren't always very good at dealing with problems that can't be easily fixed and the toll that takes on the patients. You could try to initiate a frank talk about what advantages there would be in, as you said, aggressively pursuing a diagnosis right now, like, have you eliminated enough possibilities that there are only a few options left and you're bound to get an answer soon? Or have you merely eliminated the simplest possibilities and there are many remaining options that may be complex and hard to diagnose and an answer could be a long time coming? I know nothing about seizures or your situation, but if the seizures don't seem that dangerous and the cure is starting to get worse than the disease, it might be helpful to find a middle ground where the process of diagnosing you is still ongoing but at a slower rate and you don't have to go in for tests quite so often.
