This secret is such a misreading of the original post. The point is not that Rose is the one true companion or even that one writer is feminist and the other isn't - it's that RTD and Moff have very different approaches to making television. I think the original post pretty accurately pinpoints what those different approaches are - Moff uses his companion as a function of the plot - Clara is the kind of person who would be a Doctor Who companion. Rose is a Doctor Who companion, but she's also (because RTD is a very character-based writer) a character. This is shown not just in the way that Rose and Clara are depicted on screen, but also in the kind of comments that the two showrunners make about their lead characters.
