I'm not going to say that I lost all interest, but wow that plot twist suuuuuucks. I mean, really, show? You're turning the literal ARMAGEDDON into... two men fighting over a woman? [gag]

lmao, I'm hoping there's more to it than that (either I missed something or there's more to be revealed later; something that changes things), but jeez was that twist dumb. I'm still watching but I haven't particularly liked the last few episodes, and if things continue on like this I'm going to be disappointed.

They're mostly just pawns though, yeah? Like I was under the impression Death could have been anyone, Moloch's henchmen just went after him because he knew Ichabod plus we knew Van Brunt had to tie into it somehow.

My impression was that Death/The Hessians just went "Ooh, I can bribe you with revenge easily, you'll do." Also the Horseman did kind of go off the evil script a bit, and was reprimanded for it.
