They're mostly just pawns though, yeah? Like I was under the impression Death could have been anyone, Moloch's henchmen just went after him because he knew Ichabod plus we knew Van Brunt had to tie into it somehow.

My impression was that Death/The Hessians just went "Ooh, I can bribe you with revenge easily, you'll do." Also the Horseman did kind of go off the evil script a bit, and was reprimanded for it.
