I think the Deus Ex Human Revolution book (The Icarus Effect) may just be my favourite tie-in. It's well-written, avoids being a direct adaptation of the game (it centers around completely different characters, some of them younger versions of their DX1 selves who didn't appear in DXHR), expands quite a bit on the backstory (and also has a lot more ties with the original Deus Ex, which DXHR sort of glossed over) and apparently has been made more legitimate by that new game The Fall being a sequel.

(Kind of wish The Fall would come to Android or PC, though...)
