The whole idea of The Producers is that Springtime for Hitler is a ridiculous, horrible idea for a show. Casting John Barrowman as a Nazi just makes it funnier. It's not glorifying Nazism in any way. So no, I don't think there's any kind of angle from which this is a bad opinion to have.

Plus, yes, he looks really hot.

not to mention, john barrowman's character is an actor. not an actual nazi. he's supposed to represent the peak of the aryan ideal; blonde haired, blue eyed, attractive and muscular.

so it's fine to find him attractive, op. he's supposed to be attractive. the joke wouldn't work if it was a short, unattractive guy with balding hair and a beer gut.
