IMHO

On the whole Moff/RTD issue, I've always liked RTD's writing more. Simply because I think it's more character driven, whereas Moffat's writing is more plot driven. I also like that in the RTD era the scripts were more slow paced and compact. In the Moffat era it's more fast paced, elaborate and for me that gets in the way of... building a bond, I guess. I so badly wanted to fall in live with Eleven they way I fell in love with Nine and Ten, and it just... didn't happen, partly due to the writing.
There are issues with both their writing, but I guess I decided quite early on that when it comes to writing (in general) I am quite willing to fill in the plot holes with my own imagination. ;)
