Just ignore them? I mean it IS annoying when your favorite book is turned into a movie and bastardized (partially or completely). Imagine if the novelization of your favorite movie was changed!

Forever bitter about World War Z.

Or they could ignore the movies.

(Anonymous) 2013-12-04 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
Or they could like part of the films and want to see them, and also dislike other aspects.

(Anonymous) 2013-12-04 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
Why should they, though

(Anonymous) 2013-12-04 12:55 am (UTC)(link)
yeah, try it, once. try being a fan of a book and disliking the movie and then being the one to try to ignore the movies when that's all anyone wants to talk about, all anyone associates with the title. When there are people who didn't even know it was a book first.

it's not as easy as it looks.

Not so easy when you actually like movie adaptations...when they don't suck.

FOREVER BITTER ABOUT WORLD WAR Z Christ what an awful "adaptation."

(Anonymous) 2013-12-04 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
Hahaha, I haven't even seen World War Z: The Movie and yet I'm bitter -.- Bonus points for them ruining the only zombie apocalypse story I've ever enjoyed.

THE ZOMBIES WERE FAST!!!!! I just...WHY? The only thing in common with the book is the title.

(Anonymous) 2013-12-04 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
DA. The fast zombies...ugh. That was one of the DEFINING aspects of the zombies in WWZ, why change that in making a movie? That would have made the film stand out so much more from all the other zombie movies out now. I heard or read somewhere someone describing them as a "zombie flash flood" and that's what I've thought of it since.
