Re: You're assuming the heroes are being honest

Oh no, I don't think heroes should stay on the sidelines or anything. I just think there are valid reasons why the rage against heroic destruction comes up, and it's part of that real life vs fiction friction. It's one of the reasons I like the X-Men storylines so much: they both explore racism and othering while also being reasonably concerned about people who can pick up cars and shoot fire.
