Transcripts!
Secret 1 - Mirror's Edge (videogame)
This video is why I started doing parkour. I don't think it would go down well if I admit I started it because I wanted to be like a videogame character.
Bonus: I had my hair cut like Faith's for a cosplay I did and I'm now keeping it that way.
Secret 2 - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies (warning for hardcore SPOILERS)
I really wanted him to actually be the Phantom.
Secret 3 - Cinderella (Disney animated film)
Having a 20 year old step daughter who thinks that doing the dishes to pay for her lodging is cruel and unusual punishment has led me to believe that Cinderella was a lying selfish bitch who made up the whole story.
Secret 4 - Kickass (comic book)
I love these comics so much and it saddens me that everyone waits for a movie to come out and then only focuses on it. The comics deserve more love and it's kinda painful that it's in its final story arc, and no one seems excited for what's happening other than me. The comic side of the fandom is lonely...
Secret 5 - Elementary (TV series)
I'm glad they hooked up and I hope it happens again just to spite the Joanlock shippers.
Secret 6 - Tumblr, fandom, social justice warriors
From a lot of things I've read about Tumblr on here (Fandom Secrets) it seems to be some kind of hellhole, the devil spit, Satan's lair, even. Mostly because apparently everyone has had several run ins with Social Justice Warriors. And I'm just wondering, how did you manage that? I've been on Tumblr for almost two years now, and I've never seen any sort of Social Justice wank on my dashboard, or gotten messages from Social Justice Warriors.
The corner of Tumblr I'm hiding in is all fandom, and I love it. All the people I interact with are very nice, open-minded and accepting. I don't understand where Tumblr is getting this incredibly bad reputation from, to be honest, but it makes me sad because it's the only place I've ever been able to make fandom friends.
Secret 7 - Hannibal (TV series)
I hope this show ends with everybody dying (including Hannibal Lecter).
Secret 8 - The Hobbit, films vs books (picture missing, no transcript)
Secret 9 - The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 (cartoon)
This cartoon is my favorite characterization for most of the "main" Mario characters, especially Mario, Luigi and the Koopa Kids.
Secret Because: It's practically nothing but Youtube Poop fodder nowadays.
Secret 10 - Accountability of urban destruction in superhero fights
I really don't get it when people talk about all the property destruction and human collateral damage that the heroes in action/disaster/sci-fi movies are "responsible for". Without the intervention of the heroes, the Giant Chicken that Ate Hoboken or whatever would kill everyone. Are they supposed to feel guilty for dropping ONE building on the Giant Chicken instead of letting said Chicken eat all the buildings? Would people really rather that the heroes hadn't been there?
Picture somewhat related, but this applies to multiple shows and fandoms.
