idk, I'd be curious. But I don't think my 'rents would tell me. I mean, I know that they conceived me on their first try, which has nothing to do with any of the details, but I'm not going to ask. It's not a burning question, and I think it would embarrass them.

Ironically, I do know how my brother was conceived, because I heard them telling someone else (it's kind of a funny story, it was just about when and where they were when they decided to try) but I'd never tell him because it would gross him waaaay out.

My kid is interested in where babies come from because she's getting a brother or sister next year. Thank God it's mostly been "where is it coming out" and not "how did it get in there."

And if she ever asks how she was conceived, I will not answer "well, your dad and I were really into it and forgot to get a condom." Nope. Any parent who answers that question with exactly how their kid was conceived should rethink their parenting methods.

My friend's three year old asked her when she was pregnant with his little sister, "Mommy, are you ready to poop your baby out now?"

I never asked, but my mother told me... Also now I will share it, because the horror has to go around:

My mother was fresh out of a Childrens Home* and met my father, he had a car and that is pretty much the whole reason they got together... Apparently I was made in the back of that car, and my mother lost her virginity...

So not only am I a result of an one night stand, I am the result of my mothers loss of virginity.

*Or whatever the heck you call it, orphanage for kids that still have parents.

This probably gives you magical powers of some sort.

My birthday's in mid-November, so I've always assumed I'm the result of Valentine's Day.

Mine is too, and I can confirm (thanks, dad) that that is indeed when I was conceived.

My family is very open about discussing sex. I know either me or my sister was conceived in my grandparents' house while my parents were visiting them for the holidays. But I can't remember which one of us it was.
