Raichu is my favorite! I loved Raichu as a kid and thought it was super badass. I've always kind of been a fan since Ash's Pikachu refused to evolve and it came across to me, combined with the personality of Lt. Surge and his Raichu, as sending the message that Pikachu was better. Raichu seems to be often cast as a villain or antagonist. But I was so impressed by its power and strength. Raichu is also my handle pretty much everywhere, though it annoys me when people assume I picked it because "it's sooooooo cute!" It can be, but I tend to prefer Pokémon that are badass, cool-looking, or beautiful over cute ones. ymmv.

Charizard is a very close second.
