I'd have a hard time picking just one but one that comes to mind is cubone. I'm a sucker for adorable and sad.

Ninetales, because I love foxes and it is an absolutely gorgeous pokemon.

Squirtle. I was only into Pokemon for a short time a long while ago, but I got a talking toy Squirtle that said "Squirtle" in different tones in reaction to noise because he was my favorite at the time. One day I lost it. Turns out it was under the drivers seat of my dad's car and on for several days and freaked him out the entire time.

So thinking of Squirtle makes me smile every time.

Bulbasaur, mostly because cute. But also Torterra, because I had one on my team and turtle island.

Eevee.

I had any Eevee toy in a pokeball when I was five. Nostalgia, I guess.

That's so hard. I think probably Charizard, he's such a classic favourite for me. Plus, he's super powerful even if you don't EV train or IV breed him so he's always a good asset on a team. Pokemon X really made me adore Lucario though. Playing with him in Amie is so precious.

Golduck... I don't even know exactly why, probably because it looked really kickass to my nine year old self. Also Shiggy, because well, turtles :).

Raichu is my favorite! I loved Raichu as a kid and thought it was super badass. I've always kind of been a fan since Ash's Pikachu refused to evolve and it came across to me, combined with the personality of Lt. Surge and his Raichu, as sending the message that Pikachu was better. Raichu seems to be often cast as a villain or antagonist. But I was so impressed by its power and strength. Raichu is also my handle pretty much everywhere, though it annoys me when people assume I picked it because "it's sooooooo cute!" It can be, but I tend to prefer Pokémon that are badass, cool-looking, or beautiful over cute ones. ymmv.

Charizard is a very close second.

Metagross, because hells yeah levitating psychic tank supercomputer.

Slowbro, because I relate to its life's work on a deeply personal level.

Bayleef. I like grass type pokemon, I've always had a soft spot for the Chikorita evolutions, and I think Bayleef is the cutest.

Mew!

I love how cute, bouncy and playful it is. During the part of the first pokémon movie where it's playing on the windmill and making small 'Mew' noises while giggling to itself I fell in love. It's also a psychic type which are my favourites next to fire and dark.

Gastly, because the Maiden's Peak episode in the early anime gave me such warm fuzzies for a cute floaty ball of gas with a face.

I also love Eevee and its evolved forms, and thanks to the internet I now can't help but smile whenever I see Slowpoke.

Probably Eevee. It's adorable plus it's an easy add-on to a team since there's so many type choices.

Dratini and its whole line is probably a close second. I have a soft spot for dragon pokemon in general ever since I spent hours grinding away in Red trying to get myself a Dragonite.

Oddish. It's a ROOT VEGETABLE WITH A SMILING FACE AND FEET.

I have no idea why, but the whole concept just always makes me giggle. Especially since it's named ODDISH.

Pikachu.

It comes from childhood and playing Yellow for the first time and having Pikachu follow me around. I spent so much time with that little guy. Ash having Pikachu as his forever pal probably endears me to him/her/them as well.

It might not be the most breaking Pokemon to like, but Pikachu will always be my fav.

Back in the day, my favorite was Scyther. These days, I don't have a single favorite, but tend to favor steel and rock types.
