People who actually type signatures into the body of forum posts. Use the actual signature function, geezus. Even worse if they're gimmicky with random quotes attached or some topical zinger about the thread in question.

People who drive way under the speed limit, mostly because every time I run into someone who is, there's too much traffic to pass. (On the other hand I tend to drive slow after work so I can't point too much of a finger.)

People who get uppity about being carded for cigarettes. Especially when there's a sign that says "We ID EVERYONE". I'm not losing my job because you feel the need to act like a two year old over something that isn't a big damn deal.

I hate that so much. You look young; so do I. Get over it. There's also eighteen year olds who look thirty, so really, better safe than sorry. And, as you said, you ID everyone anyway.

In my experience so far it's only been the actually older-looking folks that get grumpy over it. Granted, that's two days of experience so far, ahah.

In my experience, the nastiest customers are always old.

In my experience (which is pretty out of date now), it went like this:

Probably underage (never knew for sure because they either "forgot" their ID or tried to use one that wasn't acceptable) - either left quickly or pitched a fit.

Legal but still young - had their ID ready and were proud to show it.

A bit older - didn't have their ID ready, but didn't argue when asked to show it. I think they secretly liked to pretend I thought they looked much younger than they were even though they probably knew it was just store policy.

Visibly middle aged or older - got really annoyed because dammit, do I look like a kid to you?!?
