Dude, she:

1) was smart - she figured out the stone dust mystery and where the Zygons were hiding using problem solving skills rather than a head full of facts. I'd have expected a fan stand-in to be all about trivia.

2) escaped a Zygon by tripping it with her scarf

3) had the respect of her co-workers - e.g. Kate asking her for ideas on how to cover up the TARDIS air lift and the fact that her male co-worker seemed to treat her well. I took Kate's reminding her to use her inhaler as a maternal thing, not "LOL, you have asthma and forget to deal with it."

I also loved when she realized that she was human when everybody forgot who they were and how she decided to not say anything. It was cute.

I'd like the stone dust mystery solving more if she hadn't worked through/explained it out loud, but was rather like "oh hey, can I talk to you for a second in this other room? away from these statues that I know can't be statues anymore?".

I am glad that at least she didn't get captured as a result. The scarf thing was clever.
