Me? Fic and cosplay.

Role play anything. AUs without an in-story explanation. Steampunk. Ship manifestos.

Roleplay of/with canon characters. Cosplay.

Fanmixes.

Cosplay and RP

The kind of online role-playing where you pretend to be characters from a TV show or whatever - at least, I think that's what's going on when people talk about RPing. I don't get that at all.

Also, filking. I don't think that's something people do in fandom much anymore, but it's still the one thing that makes me want to disavow fandom and pretend I don't know any of these people.

Writing or adapting song lyrics for a fandom.

That's a dirty-sounding word.

Writing and performing folk songs about fandom stuff. It's a pretty old-school fandom thing. Cons would have filk sessions where people would break out the acoustic guitars and tamborines and whatnot and sing about Star Trek or Pern or whatever.

rp & cosplay

Roleplay. I don't get it at all.

Kink memes, because I'm not interested in smut.

Epic 300k plotty fic. When I feel like something that long I read an actual book.

High school/coffee shop/bakery/etc. AUs, because I find them boring.

Podfic. (Although weirdly, I do enjoy dramatic readings of badfic.)

And #1 on the list: YA paranormal romance and/or dystopian novels.

I'm marginally interested in most things, though serious roleplaying doesn't hold much of an interest for me. I'm not particularly interested in cosplay or fanmixes either.

RPing. I'd rather write or read fic.

RP/fic starring OCs. Podfic. Coffee shop and other everyday AUs. Those ask blogs on Tumblr where people respond with pictures/gifs of themselves in half-assed cosplay.

Podfic and fanmixes probably. Kind of weird since I love all other things audio/music based.

Merchandise of any kind, but especially action figures. I just don't get it.

Podfic, because it gives me secondhand embarrassment.

Cosplay, because I could never pass as any of my favourites and I won't curse fandom with fat versions.

I RP a lot, but I really don't do fandom crossovers well, and don't easily get to know OCs. My characters tend to be canon, though often ones with little canon characterisation. Sometimes I just cannot logic out how my characters would ever meet the characters of other fandoms.

High school/coffee shop/bakery/non-magic/etc. AUs. Often they have little to no connection to the canon plot and setting, and it's the canon plot and setting that brought me to the fandom.

Rule 63 fics that genderswap both halves of my slash pairing. Sorry, femmeslash is just not my thing. I can tolerate het (some of the time), but I love my slash pairings mostly as slash pairings. That's how I came to love them. I don't care if my fandom is a huge sausage fest, that is actually a good thing for my slashy preferences!

Yeah, I find most podficcers just don't have the voice for it. They lack tone, they lack rhythm, and often have shitty breath control.

That's true. And even if they have a technique/voices that aren't that bad, they ususally have terrible recording equipment.

Roleplay and fanmixes. Well, no, I've found like one or two fanmixes I've liked, and I liked the one that was made for my fic in a Big Bang. Otherwise, they usually just...don't make sense.

RP's tend to just make me go "...whut?" Especially the ones on Tumblr, though the ones I've seen on LJ weren't much better.
