People with age play kinks, should they not be trusted around children? What about women with rape fantasies?

Kinks and fantasies are not real life, so the way I figure it is as long as everything is consensual it's all good. I don't think certain kinks make people untrustworthy. How someone deals with their kinks and fantasies might, though.

Yeah I don't think any of these are OK. People can cap, italicize and bold kink and fantasy all they want but the thing about fantasy is that it's born from desire. Maybe it's a desire so tame people can get off just imagining and role playing but I would never take that for granted. Ever.

See I find that kind of really weird. I have a lot of weird fantasies and read a lot of weird fic that gets me off but I never want any of it to ever happen to me in real life. Fantasy is very very different from reality for me. I can't really understand the thinking that they're the same.

I like Alpha/Omega and beastality fics, doesn't mean I am going to fuck a dog.

You sound like you're really not clear on the concept here. For a lot of kinks, it's not just a matter of degree, or having a "tame desire" - it's that the fantasy and the reality are materially different in a way that makes one sexy and the other not.

This. I read some really, really terrible "erotic fiction", because a lot of the fucked up things that turn me on are only hot to me when they're not treated at all realistically.

As soon as it's even remotely well-written, the hotness goes *poof* because then reality intrudes, and my libido goes bye-bye.

for REAL. I love objectification in fic and dom/sub situations and the idea of one party being coerced into being a Stepford wife is incredibly hot but... in real life that is fucking gross.

The thing is, you can't assume exactly what desire a person is tapping into. A person can have a kink that comes from dozens of different perspectives.

For example, according to you, you wouldn't want to be around me because I enjoy ageplay and there is an assumption that I would be a danger around children.

Thing is, I'm not identifying as the older individual. I'm identifying as the YOUNGER one. Yes, that includes fics where one of the pairing is pre-adolescent. My desire? To be taken care of/disciplined/etc. by someone older and more experienced, whether it be sexually, in life, whatever.

So why am I a danger to children again? (rhetorical question, I rarely remember to come back to threads)
