Not only is it a dealbreaker, but the fact that I can't tell who these men are just by looking at them is the reason I ignore everything I know about gun safety. If I ever come face to face with one of these guys, I'm not fucking around with safety while I get raped.

So...if there's a group of people sitting around somewhere that you happen to overhear, and they're all talking about fic they read or kinks or something and one happens to say they read a really hot non-con and have always had a bit of a rape kink, you'd just pull out the gun and start shooting?

Or what amuses me in a horrible kind of way is anon sitting at home having a frank and honest and open and heartfelt discussion with their husband about fantasies and maybe trying stuff out in the bedroom, and he brings up a rape fantasy - Anon jumps up grabs the gun stashed under her pillow and just starts firing everywhere like Yosemite Sam hooting and hollering about rapists! Rapists everywhere!

I would think it would put you more in mind of gun safety? I mean, it works great as a metaphor. Always treat a gun as though it is loaded--always treat a man as though they are totes fantasizing about raping you.

Anyway, have fun accidentally shooting yourself.

You realize the odds are far better your gun goes off if you run around with the safety off like an idiot right?
