i live in a heavily-populated city so i'm actually straining to think of the creepiest interaction. the creepiest is probably not something fs general comments section level appropriate as i am scarred by it forever. but anyway.

another that comes to mind is this time i was studying at a cafe. right when i sat down, the woman next to me started yelling homophobic slurs in my direction and told me i was "the fucking devil." then, 5 seconds later, (like absolutely NOTHING WEIRD HAPPENED) she told me she liked my hair and continued drinking her coffee and smiling, said nothing else to me and was perfectly pleasant the rest of the time.

maybe? i was under the impression that tourette's was identifiable by physical tics coupled with vocal ones. i didn't notice anything like that with this woman. then again, i am not an expert.

Physical tics are not always large movements like arm flapping or violent jerking about. They can be very subtle. I have a tic disorder and the vast majority of people never notice, even classmates I've known for years.

nah, it's a spectrum. Some people have a lot of both tics and some don't. My brother has severe physical tics but no real verbal tics anymore (though when he was a little kid he used to say "Bob Dole" and "lockbox" a looooot) but some of the people I have seen in his therapy have no physical tics that I can discern, or ones that look pretty normal like rubbing their nose or something.
