Re: Things you can't enjoy anymore because they're problematic

Lol, you do realize RTD was never going to stay forever and someone else was always going to take over and take the show in a different direction? Just like Pertwee was all sci-fi techno thrillers and the early Tom Baker was gothic horror, so RTD was all soap and soft sci-fi and Moff is all fairytale and mythology. That is how Who works you sad RTD fan.

I'm an oldschool fan from way before RTD. RTD was okay, did a good revival job IMO, but it wasn't my favorite era.

Doctor Who has never been as unbearable as it has been under Moffat -- it has been terrible before, but usually only in terms of quality, not in terms of ideology/offensiveness.

Please don't make assumptions. It's not very helpful or conducive to pleasurable discussion.

You say that like that's what BRTTWW is here for. (Hint: nope.)

Wow, it's like you responded to literally nothing that AYRT said. You just saw they were talking about Doctor Who and went off on a completely irrelevant screed. I'm impressed. Or possibly just amused.

Hey BRTTWW *waves for attention*

I find it odd that you've been commenting during the time since the ayrt corrected your misconception here, yet you haven't apologized to the ayrt for your mistake. Why is that?

I didn't make a mistake, that's why. If the poster in questions wasn't a lying bastard they'd not have had to whip up a defence that suited exactly the argument they were trying to make and contradicts their original assertion. Real defences are always a bit off. They are an RTD fan with a complex, and are just appropriating years of changes in Who to try and make it look like they aren't.
