I hate how there's no filter for primary/secondary character tags. If I'm clicking a character's tag I don't want stories where they only appear for 2 sentences.

I've read a couple of ao3 fics where the ficcer has listed characters that weren't even in the fucking thing, they were just mentioned. That speaks volumes about the site's authorbase, that is the real flaw at the heart of ao3.

Yeah, it doesn't really matter what they do with the interface if the people posting can't tag correctly.

I don't put a lot of tags on my stuff. My main pairing and any others that are getting together I list. I list the cliches I use, because I know people will search for them...but that is about it. I don't list all the characters in my fics. It seems like a waste of time.
