I never got this, either!

Websites usually have a lot of individual cultures within them, and no one of those is everyone's cup of tea. But there's usually somewhere you'll fit in, and like another poster said, there tends to be overlap between them.

Maybe the people who go around claiming a certain site is a cesspit just had a bad first experience that colored their impression of the whole place? I dunno, man.
