Fine, that's all well and good. But girls also don't need a romance shoved down their goddamned throats to enjoy a fantasy story.

(Anonymous) 2013-12-11 01:24 pm (UTC)(link)THIS. Infinity times this! I am so sick of hearing 'well we have to add it for the women!' - by which they seem to mean 'girlfriends who get dragged along'. No. Women can enjoy fantasy, SF, drama, etc. without needing a romance in it.
