Re: Could a character with a prejudice be sympathetic?

Of course it's possible. People are not divided into neat categories of "Evil People With Prejudices" and "Nice People With No Prejudices." Lots of people hold at least some prejudices but still have a lot of redeeming qualities or have traits that make them human and easy to identify with. It's also possible to both have prejudices and be a victim of prejudice and oppression. A person who is equally horrible to everybody could be said to have no prejudices, but isn't going to be well-liked seen as terribly sympathetic.
