OMG SO MUCH LACE. I have a guilty adoration of lace, even if it itches like a bitch.

I have been informed that only cheap lace itches. Quality stuff is, apparently, quite comfortable. As I haven't ever experienced this mythical comfortable lace myself, I can't comment one way or the other.

But it's nice to imagine people running around in frothy lace and feeling perfectly comfortable, right? ^_~

It's true, but you can get affordable comfort lace. Marks and Spencer do it, and there's kinky knickers, they are very soft lace.

Depends on the material, yes. Polyester cookie-cutter lace tends to itch, yes, knitted lace is comfortable.
