I feel stupid and unfeminist for saying so, but one of my most comforting fantasies is going to see Holmes and Watson and getting their reassurance and protection from all the nasty guys I know who I'm scared of but who I can't do anything about.

I believe she's pulling back her veil and the emotion the two of them are conveying is concern. I recognize the story the pic's from.
