The wonderful thing about fandom is that Dean can be gay or straight or ace or hiding a tentacle problem or a serial killer or in love with his brother or harboring a crush on Bobby or married to Lisa or still dating Cassie or dead or driving the Impala off the side of the Grand Canyon ALL AT THE SAME TIME!! I am so glad we're not all writing the same stories because I'm in it for the variety.

Thanks! Maybe I just have a really Zen attitude towards fandom but I like all the different things. I want to explore multiple ideas for characters.

I have preferences too but I have found things I love that at first glance seemed not my thing by having an open mind. Draco/Giant Squid turned out not to be one of those instances, but I tried. :)
