I am sad by how disappointed I have become with Welcome to Night Vale (but happy that I found a different podcast that is what I wanted it to be).

I think it is a combination of fandom + quality. Maybe fandom hyped it up too much as being this "creepy podcast." And while there is a moment every now and again, it is just like meh now. I still listen to it (but don't read any fic or anything), but I don't look forward to episodes.

With the show itself or with the fandom? Because I am still absolutely infatuated with the show itself (especially the current Strex storyline, godDAMN I cannot wait to see what happens after episode 36's ending), but steer well clear of the fandom.

The show. I thought it was going to be creepy, but the only episode that really creeped me out was A Story About You. All the rest are sort of like, Oh, that is interesting I guess...but not creepy.
