It's not this community alone--blogs like Shakesville and Kate Harding have influenced me too--but fat acceptance movement people, here and elsewhere, have made me more determined than ever to lose weight. Because I've come to associate fatness with people being insufferable on the internet.

Really? I thought f!s as a whole was against the whole fat acceptance movement. Or at least against unhealthy lifestyles.

fat acceptance and unhealthy lifestyles are not necessarily the same thing
